Description
The fourteen-inch spring fits a two-inch-body coilover. Its rate is 150 pounds per inch.
Construction and application
- Softride processing uses high-tensile chrome-silicon wire and high-velocity hard-steel-pellet shot peening to compress the surface and increase tensile strength.
- Presetting fully compresses the spring until its coils touch at solid height to relieve stress and prevent sag. Each spring undergoes cycle testing.
- Closed ends are ground flat, perpendicular to the spring axis, to distribute force evenly and simplify assembly. The process controls spring height and rate for off-road response and consistent handling.

Additional product details
Closed, ground-flat spring ends keep the working faces perpendicular to the axis on 2.5X14X150PR, supporting even force distribution and assembly. The high-tensile chrome-silicon wire is shot-peened with steel pellets for surface compression and strength. Skyjacker presets the coil to solid height for stress and sag control and subjects it to cycle testing.
