Product Description
The REDARC SBI12D Smart Start® Dual Sensing Battery Isolator is a premium solution for complex dual battery setups where multiple charging sources are used. Unlike standard isolators, this model features dual sensing capability, meaning it can detect and respond to charging from either the starter or auxiliary battery side.
This allows seamless integration with solar panels or AC chargers, ensuring both batteries are maintained properly. Once the auxiliary battery reaches the appropriate voltage, the system automatically allows charging of the starter battery, keeping it fully topped up and ready for use.
With advanced surge protection, solenoid-based efficiency, and smart voltage management, the SBI12D offers superior performance over traditional diode isolators. It is ideal for RVs, off-grid systems, 4WD vehicles, and marine applications requiring dependable dual battery control.
