Description
Warm the seat cushion and backrest with two carbon-fiber heating elements installed beneath the original upholstery. The IBHS1 heats one seat and includes the wiring harness and an illuminated switch with low, high and off positions.
Heating elements: 2, for one seat bottom and back. Manufacturer lists nominal pad size as 18in x 9in. Installation must be performed by an authorized dealer experienced with aftermarket seating. Do not install where seat covers are bonded to the padding, channel spacing is less than 9.8 inches/250 mm, or occupants cannot reliably sense and react to heat. Side-airbag installations must follow vehicle manufacturer requirements. Follow the supplied instructions for pad trimming and switched power connection.
