Description
A short clockwise-rotation pump delivers coolant to both sides of the block within a 1-percent balance. Edelbrock 88500 is a new mechanical high-volume water pump for compatible big-block applications.
The aluminum casting uses computer-designed passages and a precision powdered-metal impeller for flow and pressure, with flow in one direction only. It is intended to help prevent overheating in compatible street rods, street machines, tow rigs and motorhomes. The silver satin-finish pump is listed for street and racing use.
