Description
Dorman OE FIX 905-671 connects a column-mounted automatic transmission shift lever to its cable on certain trucks. The original soft cast aluminum, single-bolt bracket can loosen under repeated shifting; tightening can strip its threads or break the bracket. This replacement uses a higher-grade aluminum alloy and a double-bolt design to distribute shifting stress while matching the original fit. Construction includes aluminum, polyamide and steel, with black color and a natural finish. The shift interlock solenoid also needs replacement.
