The straight-style 8614 bracket gives installers a separate mounting option when positioning a Directed 8607 pin switch. Its purpose is mechanical support of the switch, not switching or electrical control by itself.
The manufacturer identifies a pack of ten brackets under this exact number. Do not confuse it with the angled 8615 pack or the 8607 pin-switch pack, which is a separate component.
