The Dinosaur Electronics Micro P-711 is a universal replacement Black Box Board, designed to replace any Dometic® Black Box Board with a part number beginning with "293." This advanced board features built-in surge protection to guard against installation errors and power supply issues, ensuring the longevity of your RV refrigerator system. It is fuse-protected across the 120 VAC circuit, 12 VDC supply, and the DC element for enhanced safety.
Key features include an improved thermocouple circuit that eliminates recurring check light problems, and a food saver function that keeps the refrigerator running if the eyebrow board or communication link fails. This board also supports temperature control for fixed-temperature Americana and Freedom series refrigerators, as well as providing compensation for aging and variations in units with "Smart Eyebrow" temperature controls.
The Micro P-711 supports universal 2-way or 3-way (AC/DC/Gas) operation, with the option to install an additional fuse for 3-way functionality. Its built-in microcontroller ensures reliable operation, and installation is made easier with an easy-to-remove protective cover and a detailed instruction sheet.
Important: The Micro P-711 cannot replace any Black Box Board part numbers starting with "385." Please verify the part number of your existing board to ensure compatibility. For models with part numbers 3850415-xxx or 3850712-xxx, use Dinosaur Electronics' 3850415.01 or 3850712.01, respectively.
