Description
A low-profile wireless client can keep deck hardware compact without separate exposed antennas. The Aigean LD-70 houses a 2.4/5 GHz receiver and four internal antennas inside a marine dome intended to connect a boat network to external Wi-Fi service.
The manufacturer specifies a standard 1-inch-14 marine antenna mounting thread, a sealed fiberglass enclosure and a single Ethernet run for data and power. The supplied 25-foot Ethernet lead and power-over-Ethernet injector make the package suited to planned onboard installations; verify the required 802.3at power arrangements before connecting.
