Product Description
The Surge Guard® 40350RVC3 Automatic Transfer Switch combines advanced power transfer functionality with comprehensive RV electrical protection. Designed for 50-amp, 120/240-volt RV electrical systems, this intelligent transfer switch automatically switches between shore power and generator power while continuously monitoring incoming electrical service.
When generator power becomes available, the transfer switch automatically transfers power after a built-in 30-second delay, helping protect air conditioners, compressors, and sensitive electronics from damage caused by rapid power cycling.
Unlike standard transfer switches, the 40350RVC3 includes Surge Guard electrical protection technology, helping protect your RV from faulty campground power, voltage irregularities, and damaging electrical events.
Its integrated RVC (Recreational Vehicle-CAN) communication capability allows compatible RV monitoring systems to display critical electrical information including voltage, amperage, and fault conditions in real time. Faults are presented in plain English, making diagnosis and troubleshooting significantly easier.
The unit also features front-mounted indicator lights that provide a quick visual confirmation of power availability on both Line 1 and Line 2 inputs.
