Shields low-permeation marine fuel hose uses a plastic barrier veneer with an NBR outer-layer tube to prevent permeation, reinforced with polyester. It resists weather and UV exposure and is primarily used for fuel feed, with selected marine fuel-feed and tank-vent applications. The hose complies with EPA and CARB very-low-permeation requirements and meets USCG Type A1-15 requirements for pleasure boats. EPA certification and CARB certification are both No. Limited warranty coverage is two years.
