High-torque starter uses all-new components, not rebuilt or remanufactured parts. An offset design increases oil-pan clearance and rotates for more chassis clearance. The high-output motor turns the engine faster than stock, delivering forty to fifty percent more cranking power. Sealed 3.75-to-one gear reduction and full ball bearings support operation; included shims set pinion-gear engagement. Natural silver starter for selected Pontiac and Oldsmobile applications, 1.4-kilowatt output and 153/168-tooth flywheel/flexplate compatibility.
