The PVC jacket on W16/2dc-100 fills the spaces between its wires against moisture and air accumulation. Pacer Marine uses flexible, fine Type III tinned-copper conductors for corrosion resistance and coats inner wires with talc to aid stripping. The DC/low-voltage AC cable is made in Sarasota, Florida, USA.
