Description
The key-fob-operated motor opens and closes double-wall aluminum slats. An electromagnetic brake holds them at any point.
Construction and application
- Double-wall aluminum slats provide security and resistance to the elements; an electric motor is operated by key fob.
- An electromagnetic brake locks the cover anywhere between open and closed for partial bed access; closing the cover and locking the tailgate secures the contents.
- Bolt-on clamps avoid drilling. The motor wires directly to the battery without cutting or splicing; a drive-system lever permits manual operation after power loss.
