The drag shock supports track tuning on selected Pinto and Mustang applications. A lower cross pin pairs with an upper stud mount.
Construction and application
- Across the drag-shock range, front valving permits rapid rise at launch for rearward weight transfer, then gradual descent to ride height without unloading rear tires.
- Matching rear shocks coordinate the transition and adjust by compression and rotation: use 50/50 for slick tracks or 70/30 on good tracks for more weight transfer.
