This new Lippert Flex Air™ fifth wheel pin box (328492) is a premium air-ride king pin coupler system designed to deliver superior towing comfort and protection for your RV. Built to fit Lippert 1621 frames (L05 long tow configuration), this pin box provides a 18,000 pound gross weight capacity for mid-size to large fifth wheel trailers.
The Flex Air™ system combines advanced air ride technology with a Rota-Flex® pivoting head, significantly reducing both vertical shock and fore-to-aft movement (chucking). The integrated air bag absorbs road vibration, while the oil shock absorber controls rebound, delivering smoother, more stable towing performance.
Additionally, a rubberized torsion compound and pivoting head design help isolate motion between the tow vehicle and trailer, reducing stress on both and improving overall ride quality.
