Description
Transoms, stringers and cabin roofs are applications for this wood-restoration epoxy. Git-Rot requires dry wood and cures overnight.
Product details
Git-Rot two-part liquid epoxy penetrates dry rotted wood and bonds with loose rotted fibers to restore original structural strength and stop dry rot spreading. Wood must be dry. Inject the mixed epoxy into the wood; capillary action draws it in. Pot life is one-half hour, with overnight curing. The cured material can be sanded, painted, drilled and screwed. Compatible with fiberglass resins, epoxies and most sealants; suitable for transoms, stringers and cabin-roof rot in fiberglass and wood boats. Supplied as a sixteen-fluid-ounce epoxy kit.
