Description
A single-keyway crankshaft gear defines this non-adjustable timing set for small-block Ford V8 applications. Edelbrock 7814 includes the Performer-Link chain and gears for Edelbrock or stock camshafts.
The solid-bushing chain provides a rolling bearing surface that resists stretch. The cam sprocket uses 35,000-PSI tensile-strength cast iron, while the crank sprocket is billet SAE1144 steel with induction heat treatment. Do not use the set above 6,500 RPM. Limited 1-year manufacturer warranty.
