Description
A wider Modified-engine valley is the key fitment distinction for the 2171 Performer. It serves 1971–82 Ford 400 V 8 engines with 2V Cleveland heads and 1975–82 351M V 8 s, with a valley width of 8-17/32 inches. It does not fit 1974-and-earlier 351C engines.
The natural aluminum, low-rise dual-plane manifold takes a 4150-style square-bore four-barrel carburetor. It is non-EGR and operates from idle to 5500 RPM.
