Description
Removing the heavy spare from a 2007–2018 Jeep Wrangler JK tailgate improves rear departure clearance for rock crawling. TSJK-01 covers the tailgate vent and replaces the spare-tire assembly with a steel delete panel.
The assembly includes an LED license-plate light with weatherproof crimps and a watertight third-brake-light plug. Rubber plugs replace the spare-tire isolators and wiring grommet. Construction uses the specified 2 mm or 4 mm steel plate with micro-texture black powder coating. Supplied mounting hardware enables a bolt-on fit without cutting or drilling; the plate light requires minor wiring.
