Description
Ductile iron gives the 697-734 rear differential cover a thicker construction than the stamped-steel original. Its black powder-coated wrinkle finish resists corrosion. Two filler plugs provide access for filling; a drain plug permits fluid changes without removing the cover or replacing its gasket. The stainless-steel Dorman logo plate is removable for customization. Necessary bolts and plugs are included, while the gasket and carrier cap support/girdle are excluded.
