Description
The universal harness combines 7-way and 4-flat connections with an HD converter, backup wiring and a brake-control harness. It powers tail, left/right turn, brake and reverse lights, electric brakes and 12-volt accessories. Every circuit, including reverse, has short-circuit and overload protection.
Brake-controller connection
Compatible with standard U.S. trailer connectors and all CURT brake controllers, the dedicated brake-control wire connects to the cold-side stop signal for precise brake control. The durable plug-and-play kit includes installation hardware. Its non-marine thermoplastic-rubber assembly uses green, yellow, blue, black and red colors at the trailer/vehicle end; estimated installation is one hour.
