Description

This Class III rear hitch has a 2-inch receiver, a 5,000-pound weight-carrying rating and a 750-pound tongue rating. It accepts compatible cargo carriers or bike racks and supports appropriately rated fishing-boat, popup-camper, ATV and utility trailers.

Finish and mounting

Manual and robotic welds join square steel tubing. An inside-and-out Bonderite treatment is co-cured with gloss black powder coat for resistance to rust, chips and UV exposure. The vehicle-integrating design requires cutting but no drilling; installation is estimated at 1.5 hours. No ball mount is supplied, and roll-pan or marine use is excluded.
