Description
Crown 4861661AB replaces the throttle-body assembly on a variety of late-2000s Chrysler-built trucks and SUVs. The part is chiefly associated with the 3.7L V6, with additional manufacturer-listed 3.8L applications; it is not a universal throttle-body unit simply because its flange looks familiar.
A mismatched throttle body can trigger poor idle or throttle response, so select by the original MPN, connector and engine calibration. Crown lists it as a single assembly with plastic and stainless-steel construction. It should not be confused with the separate throttle position sensor on older cable-operated engines.
