Description
A leak at the front of the crankshaft calls for the correct timing-cover seal rather than an unrelated rear-main seal. Crown 4792317AB is a front crankshaft oil seal for selected Chrysler-built engines.
Its rubber-and-metal sealing construction is used on 2007-2011 Wrangler JK models equipped with the 3.8L V6. The matching engine is essential; later JK 3.6L versions should not be assumed compatible.
