Description
When throttle input and engine response stop matching on an early fuel-injected Jeep, a correctly numbered throttle-position sensor matters. Crown 4626051 is designed for the manufacturer-listed 2.5L and 4.0L applications, not every Jeep with an inline engine.
The sensor mounts at the throttle body and reports throttle-angle changes to engine controls. Crown identifies a black, metal-and-plastic single-sensor unit. Confirm the engine, vehicle year and electrical connection before replacing it, since later sensors can share similar housings but use different part numbers.
