Description
Leaks from the pitman-shaft end of a power-steering box require a different service kit from an input-shaft seal. Crown 4470365 is the sector-shaft (pitman-shaft) seal kit for a defined group of Jeep and Dodge steering gears.
It comes as a kit of sealing components, not a rebuilt steering gearbox. Manufacturer fitment covers certain TJ and XJ Jeeps along with older Ram and Dakota steering assemblies; variations in drive and steering gear matter. Match the factory gear number before disassembly and follow the specified sealing procedure.
