Used Dometic 2931656017 RV Refrigerator Gas Safety Valve

Dometic 2931656017 is a gas safety valve found in the control and burner plumbing of several absorption refrigerators. The part is identified by its own manufacturer number in an original Dometic RM2553 spare-parts list and in additional model breakdowns. It is not a replacement for the entire burner assembly or manual temperature control.

On older refrigerator layouts the valve is shown near the thermocouple, thermostat and burner connections. Because nearby parts can look similar, this used replacement should be compared against the removed valve’s stamped number, ports and mounting arrangement—not selected solely because the refrigerator has an RM-series model name.

Verify before ordering

A gas safety valve is a safety-critical pressure-containing component. Only use a verified correct part; a qualified RV propane technician must assess condition, leakage, connections and safe operation before installation. Condition, completeness and operation of any individual salvaged valve must be verified before use.

Photo and condition note: Because multiple used units of this part may be available, the item shipped may differ slightly from the photos in appearance or cosmetic condition. You will receive an original OEM component matching the manufacturer part number (MPN) stated in this listing.
