Description
The GPS-capable Eclipse radio combines fixed mounting with Class D DSC. It transmits at twenty-five watts high or one watt low.
Features
- The GX1410 Eclipse Series meets ITU-R M493-16 Class D. A separate Channel 70 receiver receives DSC calls while other communications are being monitored. With GPS connected, activating DSC DISTRESS sends a digital MAYDAY with vessel identification, latitude, longitude and time. Other call functions include Individual, Urgency, Safety, Position Report and Send. The high-resolution dot-matrix display has adjustable ultra-bright backlighting for day or night; intuitive menus provide access to settings and DSC calling/programming.
