Dry hull deposits are treated by foaming action with Star Brite 092232p. The acid-based cleaner addresses yellow buildup and alkali water rings.
Preparation and Safety
Wear protective gear to avoid skin irritation and follow proper disposal practices. Take the boat out of the water and dry the deposits first; stains above the waterline can be treated afloat.
Use
An all-plastic sprayer, non-nylon roller or brush can apply the cleaner. Reapply to keep deposits wet and foaming for about 10 minutes, then rinse. Heavy deposits may call for further applications and light scraping. Pump fresh water through a sprayer before putting it away.
