Introduced in 1982, the Taper-Lock system uses a high-strength composite bushing with a slight taper that matches the pedestal-base socket. The resulting snug, secure fit can be disengaged as needed. A locking tab resists free turning and helps retain the pedestal. This locking rise post is fixed at 13 inches, meets ABYC H-31 AD and carries a limited five-year warranty.
