Product details
Max ATF is synthetic automatic-transmission fluid for the listed applications excluding CVT and DCT. Low friction and high film strength reduce heat and wear; oxidation stability supports longer fluid life. Automatic transmissions rely on fluid for cooling and protection. Overheating causes more than 90 percent of automatic-transmission failures and a 20-degree-Fahrenheit fluid-temperature reduction can double transmission life. The fluid can mix with other ATFs, although draining or flushing the existing fluid before filling gives the best results.
