Part 88445 addresses the compact 5-foot-8-inch GM truck bed. It is easy to confuse with 88450 or 88455, but those are longer covers and cannot be cut down for this application.
Extang’s Solid Fold ALX combines one-inch TPO-faced rigid panels with a simple twist-operated tailgate latch. Protective seals and Jaw-Grip clamps secure the tri-fold without drilling, and the manufacturer allows an evenly spread 600-lb load on the closed assembly.

Fitment and ordering guidance
Listed for selected 2014–2024 Chevrolet Silverado/GMC Sierra 1500 trucks with the 5 ft 8 in bed. Compare generation, tailgate and cargo-bed dimensions against the manufacturer application before ordering.
Part 88450 serves the 6-foot-6-inch box and part 88455 the 8-foot box; neither should be substituted for 88445.
