marshall-excelsior-propane-hose-connector-me519
Marshall Excelsior Propane Hose Connector ME519

With a 400000 BTU rating, Marshall Excelsior ME519 is the red Type QCC/OPD propane hose connector. Its brass body includes a shutoff and connects female 1-5/16-inch QCC/ACME to 1/4-inch male threads. Type I (QCC) threading replaces POL on DOT cylinders of 40 pounds or less.

The connection must engage completely to open the positive shutoff. Excess-flow protection can stop gas supply to the appliances, and a thermal element melts in a fire to let the nipple disengage and halt tank flow. Disconnecting activates a positive backcheck that retains propane in the hose rather than venting it to the atmosphere.

Close the cylinder valve and all appliance control valves before hand-tightening the QCC connection. Open the cylinder valve gradually; a quick opening can activate excess-flow protection. If it activates, close the appliance control valves and wait 60 seconds for the pressure to equalize, allowing additional time for longer hoses. Afterwards, use the manufacturer's lighting procedure for each appliance.

Warranty

Limited 5 Year Warranty

Specifications

Type: QCC/ OPD

End Size1: 1-5/16 Inch

End Type1: Female QCC/ACME

End Size2: 1/4 Inch

End Type2: Male Threads

BTU Level: 400000 BTU

Color: Red

Material: Brass

With Shut Off: Yes

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0682/4958/3802/files/ImageServerAPI_55e546c4-c5f0-4a62-9961-f01e2b91e0f6.jpg?v=1791249581
