marshall-excelsior-propane-hose-connector-me518
Marshall Excelsior Propane Hose Connector ME518

The green Marshall Excelsior ME518 Type QCC/OPD connector combines a 200000 BTU rating with a brass body and shutoff. Connections are female 1-5/16-inch QCC/ACME and 1/4-inch male threads. Its Type I (QCC) thread takes the place of POL on 40-pound-or-smaller DOT propane cylinders.

A fully engaged connection is required before the positive shutoff permits gas flow. The connector also incorporates excess-flow protection and a heat-sensitive element that melts during a fire, allowing the nipple to disengage and shut off flow from the tank. A backcheck keeps propane in the hose when disconnected, preventing its release to the atmosphere.

Connect only after closing the cylinder valve and all attached appliance control valves. Tighten the QCC by hand and slowly open the cylinder valve. A fast opening can activate excess-flow protection, cutting off appliance flow. To recover, close the appliance control valves and wait 60 seconds for pressure equalization, or longer where hose length requires. Follow each appliance manufacturer's lighting instructions when turning the appliances on.

Warranty

Limited 5 Year Warranty

Specifications

Type: QCC/ OPD

End Size1: 1-5/16 Inch

End Type1: Female QCC/ACME

End Size2: 1/4 Inch

End Type2: Male Threads

BTU Level: 200000 BTU

Color: Green

Material: Brass

With Shut Off: Yes

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0682/4958/3802/files/ImageServerAPI_ce1b9cd6-94d7-4181-9183-b2730798de73.jpg?v=1791249572
