banks-power-66641-computer-chip-module
Banks Power 66641 Derringer Performance Module

The Banks Power 66641 Derringer module adjusts engine calibration through an in-line sensor connection and the OBD-II bus. Its compact housing communicates with iDash DataMonster, iDash SuperGauge and PedalMonster devices. Up to six power levels can be changed on the fly through iDash; level 3 is intended for work and towing, while level 6 is the highest performance setting.

Engine Monitoring

Derringer uses throttle position, rpm, road speed, air/fuel ratio, knock, coolant temperature and exhaust-gas temperature to manage added power across the operating rpm range. ActiveSafety checks the module and vehicle 100 times per second. A detected fault bypasses the module, sets a device diagnostic code and restores stock power. Power addition is inhibited when the engine is too cold or overheated, and output is reduced if fuel-related knock occurs.

Installation and Controls

The performance module installs through plug-and-play connections and includes no monitor.

Compatibility

3.0L/2987 turbocharged direct-injection V6 diesel: 2014–2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 2014–2018 Ram 1500 and 2019 Ram 1500 Classic (old model).

Specifications

<colgroup>
<col width="25%">
<col>
</colgroup>

Emissions Legality

50-State Legal

Display Type

No Monitor

Programmability

One Time Programmable

Tuning Type

Performance

Installation Type

Plug And Play

Number Of Power Levels

Up To 6 Adjustable Power Levels

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0682/4958/3802/files/ImageServerAPI_b401e01a-ddcf-4295-85bf-a362589242c3.jpg?v=1791406276
