backrack-50167-headache-rack-mounting-kit
Backrack 50167 Ram 1500 Wide-Rail Tonneau Adapter

A cover that sits on top of the pickup bed rails can block conventional headache-rack bracket locations. Backrack 50167 is the wide-top-rail adapter kit for selected Ram 1500 trucks, making space for the compatible cover while supporting a separate cab guard.

The manufacturer notes that this mounting solution raises the headache rack by about two inches. Because the bracket kit replaces the standard Backrack mount hardware, a second standard kit is not required. Confirm that the tonneau cover is the top-rail style and that the rack, cover and tailgate operation are all compatible.

Specifications

Attribute

value

Part

50167

Product

Wide top-rail tonneau cover adapter / mount kit

Vehicle

Ram 1500 application

Rack height change

Approximately +2 inches

Finish

Black powder-coated steel

Fitment and ordering checks

Application

information

Ram 1500

2019-2026 manufacturer-listed fitment

Tonneau type

Covers mounted on top of truck bed rails

Required

Compatible Backrack cab guard, sold separately

Not required

Separate standard mount brackets for this combination

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0682/4958/3802/files/ImageServerAPI_1d1a5773-1bd7-4fcd-a86b-da4f849ef574.jpg?v=1791402980
